Any­one have any ideas for a route this com­ing Sat­ur­day the 19th? I was think­ing a short Sewick­ley casual/conversational pace ride only about 15 miles.

Results For Morgantown RR

We had three Sar­gent Electric/Koeles team mem­bers rac­ing in Yesterday’s Mor­gan Town Road Race (APRRS #1)—myself, Michal Krauze and David Short. All three of us are Cat 4 rac­ers and were com­pet­ing in the Cat 4/5 race, which had a field of 79 rac­ers! Here are the team results:

  1. Michal Krauze, 9th Place, 2:11:59 Fin­ish Time
  2. David Short, 33rd Place, 2:14:13 Fin­ish Time
  3. Derek Rea­ger, 43rd Place, 2:16:18 Fin­ish Time

It was nice to get the sea­son opener out of the way and to get a feel for our fit­ness lev­els. I came to the real­iza­tion I need to do some work for myself. :-)

Easter Sunday Egg scrambler MTB Ride (North park)

MEET: SUNDAY 8th — 8:45 ride 9 am - we will meet at the North Park ICE Rink Park­ing lot.

This will be a quick ride so that every­one can get back to their hol­i­day plans!  Come and scram­ble your eggs on the fast North Park trails!  I rode them today and it is brilliant!

ROUTE: We will start off with a quick blast on the road before we tackle the Hard Climb up the power line to the nature cen­ter trail — then head in this fun often missed sec­tion of trail!!! after com­plet­ing this mini loop we will go old school and ride up Car­diac Hill (now if this one does not boil your eggs I don’t know what will)  we will then head along the new switch backs and along the old Red Bridal path and down the RED roller coaster to the Spill­way.  We will then head back along the Pfund­stein trail (the wrong way!) (red with blue dot) and along the north ridge trails back to the cars.  If you cook it you can do this in about an hour and a half.
